Finding the latest and greatest venues and products can be tricky… So we’re making it super easy for you by creating this fabulous page all about NEW!

This page is not part of our main directory and that’s because it’s reserved only for NEW venues and products. Venues and products featured here must have launched within four months of first featuring on the website and will be removed after three months.

It’s also free for venues and suppliers to list their details here, because we don’t want to deter them in any way from getting involved. We’re here to help you and if this helps… then we’re happy with that.

Location: Right in the heart of Sydney's CBD on York Street - the event space is on the lower ground, under the Bavarian Bier Cafe

Suitable for: dinner and lunch events, cocktail parties, product launch, media events, weddings, presentations and mini exhibitions.

Why Event Birdie wants to rave about this new venue...  This underground venue has been around for awhile, but with its recent reno it's now offering a bright, fresh event space that is much needed in Sydney's CBD. It's got a great big bar and plenty of space (max 180 for sit down and 550 for cocktail!). The interiors are fresh and neutral, which means you can style it however you like. It's a great space for product launches and mini exhibitions too.

Location: Woolloomooloo Bay, Sydney (sitting cosily where the CBD meets the Eastern suburbs, right on the harbour)

Why Event Birdie wants to rave about this new venue...  We love Ovolo and think this will soon be a favourite of yours too... The venue is in a great Sydney location - just a stroll across the park or short taxi ride from the CBD.

It's fresh, funky vibe is unlike anything else on the market and it is a breath of fresh air from standard meeting rooms. Location: Alfred Place - right in Melbourne's CBD, not far from cnr of Collins & Exhibition Streets 

Suitable for: dinner events, cocktail parties, product launches, media events, weddings, private dining and group gatherings

Why Event Birdie wants to rave about this new venue...  The Alfred combines two fabulous restaurants - Fratelli Fresh (down stairs) and The Cut (upstairs) - which means fantastic food, wine and service, along with rich and sophisticated interiors. With little to no event styling needed you'll have more budget to spend on food, which makes this venue a great space to entertain clients, staff, family and friends.  

Each restaurant is able to be hired exclusively (Fratelli Fresh accommodating up to 400 guests and The Cut accommodating up to 360) or you can hire semi-exclusive areas on each floor - including a whisky bar and a wine bar! (see their website for capacity details).

With a super central location, fantastic menus and stylish interiors, this is a great space to check out ahead of party season!

Why Event Birdie wants to rave about this new venue...  The Australian Events Centre is opening in November 2016 (just months away now) and is being decked out with all the latest and greatest in audio visual, lighting and broadcast facilities. It's a large (1700sqm) pillarless space with division walls - so it's super flexible and can accomodate all manner of events.

They have a covered outdoor space and landscaped gardens, making both indoor and outdoor events possible. To top it all off, Australia’s first Hyatt Place hotel will be opening up alongside the Centre, offering 166 rooms. Due to it's convenient location and state of the art facilities, The Australian Events Centre is definitely going to be a winner for interstate and international conventions and events.
