Event Showcase | Flute Private Dining Pop Up Venue
Pop up event spaces are the BEST! The reason being is that they are new, they come with a fully integrated theme and menu AND they are temporary. Their exclusive, limited-time-only design makes them a much sought-after event space for event planners who are looking for an exciting new venue to host their end-of-year functions.
So while Developers don’t always come to the rescue with exciting new buildings launching every festive season, clever venues can – by creating new event spaces within existing venues. Bring on the era of pop up venues!
This week we’re excited to get behind the scenes of a successful pop up event space in Melbourne that was launched last year for the festive season – Flute Private Dining. Such a success, the team behind Flute are currently working on a new concept that will be popping up later this year (stay tuned).
Flute Private Dining team, along with some exceptional event suppliers, transformed a room of 3 blank walls and floor to ceiling windows overlooking Melbourne’s iconic Her Majesty’s Theatre and city surrounds from a standard function room to an exclusive ‘Christmas on Fifth Avenue’ event space.
The Pop-Up Concept…
Flute Private Dining partnered with Champagne maker, GH Mumm and event stylists, The Three Piece Suit to create an extravagant Christmas dining experience. The premium event experience was curated to impress the most discerning guests, allowing them to be whisked away into a private enclave.
The room was styled with custom pieces, stylish furniture and a Mumm statement bar. Using bold tones, metallic finishes and an aroma of Christmas, the team set the scene from the outset.
The pop-up dining space catered for groups of up to 72 for seated events and 120 for cocktail style.
On the Menu….
Executive Head Chef at Locanda Restaurant, is the backbone to the Flute Private Dining team, showcasing a refined menu of upscale seasonal dining. Guests choose from a range of sumptuous menu concepts including a signature Grazing Table, a visual feast of all the Christmas Favourites, elegant set menus or cocktail soirees, as drinks flowed from the exclusive Mumm Bar.
